Friendship and Relationships

There are lots of good things happening in our lives and they are the gifts from God, we all appreciate them! The only thing is, we can't bring everything with us to Heaven, but we can bring only 1 thing with us to Heaven, which is Friendship. Heaven is already a perfect place, so we don't need to bring anything else except our friendship with our friends and family.

You know what? Friendship is the biggest stuff in reality. You can bring it to heaven as it is mentioned above! It is more important than money, education, work and everything else that bothers our lives. There are 2 types of friends, not being judgeful, so yeah, the 2 types of friends are the friends that just have a relationship with you because they have something to get from you like money for buying books, knowledge for their tests, borrowing books, taking answers from others and many more. And there is another type of relationship, who is the friend that sticks with you closer than a brother or sister, so that friend or family member will stick with you and be best buddies with you no matter what, even though there are problems in their relationship, they will still stick together. Like a friend having another best friend and somehow ignoring the other friend, but the other friend still have a good relationship with the friend that have another best friend, and this type of relationship is the best one, it is like sticking together closer than a brother or sister. It is written in the Bible that: A man of many companions may come to ruin, but there is a friend that sticks closer than a brother. - Proverbs 18:24.

Now, I am going to tell you about the Bible verses in the Bible that talks about Friendship, so, let's get started! So, first thing's first, the Bible verses are:

  • He who walks with the wise grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm. (Proverbs 13:20)
    • This means that if you hang out with stupid people, you will be stupid, but if you hang out with smart and intelligent people, you will be smart and intelligent, which tells us that you will be affected by the people who you hang out with.
  • Greater love has no one than this, that lay down his life for his friends. (John 15:13)
    • This means that you will help a person and risk your life, Jesus did this to save us from our sins, but if He didn't sacrifice Himself, we would be suffering like Him, so thank you very much Jesus! We really appreciate what you have done for us! We are nothing without you oh Lord Jesus, not even an atom (not to be so scientific, but it is the smallest living thing on earth, smaller than a virus!).
  • As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another. (Proverbs 27:17)
    •  This means that Friends help others and critics you for your own good. This is what a good friend would do. So, if you have something that you think that is quite nice, and someone else think that you need to improve on it a little bit and tells you about it, then that person is a good friend, because good friends critic each other in order to improve each other's mistakes or anything.
  • A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity. (Proverbs 17:17)
    • This means that Friends are there to help you. They lend us a helping hand, and never gives up on us. They are the best ones that we can ever get.
  • Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work, if one falls down, one can help him up. But pity the man who falls and no one will help. (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10)
    • This means that If there are 2 people, and 1 gets in trouble, the other one can help, but if you are alone, no one will help you. So, it is better to have lots of friends, but not that much, because there is a saying that a friend to one is a friend to all, a friend to all is a friend to none, so just be really friends with 1 person, and not toot much.
  • A righteous man is cautious in Friendship, but the way of the wicked leads them astray. (Proverbs 12:26)
    • This means that we have to be careful with our friends, and choose the right friends, but don't choose on people, just see, if they are bad, don't be friends with them, but also don't be enemies with them. No one is an enemy to us, because we are friends of God, and God don't hate anyone.
  • Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers, they will succeed. (Proverbs 15:22)
    • This means that if you get advice from people, you will do better. So, if you have an assignment or project, and your mom says that you need to add this and add that, or minus this and minus that, follow her, because she is giving you advice to make your assignment or project look better. Sometimes, it might not be your taste, but it would definitely look better, because the Bible tells us, and the Bible never lies, because it is the word of God, it is God speaking directly to us.

Friends are fun to have, but they also are complicated and sensitive, so try to be careful with friends! Friends rock!
