Nowadays, there are lots of things happening on earth, and in lots of schools, the main problem with secondary and high school kids is that they love to bully others. This is a bad thing to do, bullying can hurt people in 2 ways, physically and emotionally, but mostly physically. When the bully hurts people physically, it is quite okay, because the hurt would sooner or later be healed, but when the bully hurt the person emotionally, the hurt would come off in a long time, because the person feels very bad. There is a saying that the words are more powerful than actions, so watch your words, they might hurt people a lot.
There are lots of terms of bullying and they are:
- Force is to make someone do something that they don't want to, like asking a girl to roll around in the mud for a play, but she refused, but the person still ask the girl to roll in the mud, and that was an example of force.
- Threat is to intend to cause pain to someone, and it is like giving a wedgie to someone innocent. They gave the person a wedgie because there is something that the person want.
- Coercion is ask someone to do something by force, and it is like threatening someone, so it is like asking a boy to give a person his money, or else the person will kill that boy, so the boy needs to give the person the money so that he won't be killed. This was an example of coercion.
- Abuse is to mistreat someone, like a master not giving food to the maid, and asking the maid to do lots of stuff without even paying or giving food to them.
- Intimidate is to frighten someone to make them do what you want, this thing happened in one of the classes in grade 7, it was not nice at all. A boy intimidated a girl, and made the girl not come to school for 1 whole week. This was awful. The boy wanted the girl to work in the team to make the blog, but the girl didn't do it (according to him) and then she got intimidated and not go to school for 1 whole week, luckily, there is Pastor Mak, he solved the problem. Yay! He made the boy understand everything and made the girl understand it too. Then, the boy ask for forgiveness from the girl and the girl accepted it. *aww*
- Aggression is a violent behavior towards a person, so an example would be a person hitting each other in the hallway or anywhere. Fighting would also be a good example, they are doing violent stuff like attacking each other with guns and knives, and blood all over them. *yuck*
- Impose is to force people to be accepted. So, like a person who is left out and have no group at all, wants to be in a group, but no one accepts that guy, so he force people to accept him. Wait... isn't this a crime? Well, anyways, it is bad to do that, and don't ever try to do so, it is very bad. If you tried to do so, then you are imposing someone.
- Dominate is to have influence on, like a person hanging out with the bad guys, then, after spending a long time together, the person who was innocent earlier became a bad guy too, because that guy got influenced.
These are some pictures:
Verbal bullying, which is bullying with words. (please ignore the words there in the picture... some are "bad kitty" words)
Physical bullying, which is bullying with the body.
This is an acronym for the word bully, and it may be correct. They are trying to get attention by bullying others and think that they are cool, no way! It i not cool at all, in fact, it is the total opposite!
