Conflict Resolution
Hello everyone! Now, I am going to tell you guys about how to resolve or as you all say, fix your conflicts, and there are lots of ways to do so, so let's get started!
First, let's state your situation, like what your conflict is about, and for example, the conflict is about someone getting gossiped by a group of people. She was badly hurt and never talk to anyone anymore.
Secondly, write the names of the people involved. Example: Lily was gossiped by Lola and Sam. When you know that they are gossiping about you, try to stop them, because it isn't nice to do so. Gossips are yucky and icky. *bleah*
Thirdly, write the time and place of offense, like where the gossiping happened to you so that the person that see your conflict resolution paper will understand this conflict really well and try to solve it with you guys. For example Time: Lunch at 12.00pm, place: library.
Fourthly, write the exact nature of the conflict or in other words, write what happened. If you do write what happened, people would easily solve your problem. They could just read it , and try to solve it. No one can solve a problem without understanding it right? For example: Lily was walking by the library and looking at books there, and all of a sudden, some students gossiped about her and say mean things to her.
Fifth, Pray and think about your conflict, you should be able to fix it already. And after you do so, think about verses from the Bible to comfort you, because the Bible always comforts people, there is no problem to believe the Bible is true!
Bible verses that match your conflicts!
-
Matthew 7:1-3“Don’t judge, so that you won’t be judged.2 For with whatever judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with whatever measure you measure, it will be measured to you.3 Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but don’t consider the beam that is in your own eye?
- Matthew 18:15-1715 “If your brother sins against you, go, show him his fault between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained back your brother.16 But if he doesn’t listen, take one or two more with you, that at the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.17 If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the assembly. If he refuses to hear the assembly also, let him be to you as a Gentile or a tax collector.
This means that if someone is against you, go to him and tell him that he is wrong. If he doesn't commit that he is doing something wrong, go with 1 more person, so it makes 2, and then if he still doesn't admit that he did something wrong, take 3 people, and if he still don't admit it, take ann organization or something to make him admit, perhaps he would admit his mistake by now. But if he still don't admit it, leave him alone. So, for a short cut, it is 1, 2, 3, 10, go.
- Matthew 5:23-2423 “If therefore you are offering your gift at the altar, and there remember that your brother has anything against you,24 leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.
If you do something wrong to others, first, resolve or fix it, and then offer him a gift for a memory or something, but never ever ever! give your gift as a bribe to let others be friends with you or to forgive you!
- Galatians 6:11 Brothers, even if a man is caught in some fault, you who are spiritual must restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness; looking to yourself so that you also aren’t tempted.
This means that you should forgive people gently. But be careful, you might be tempted.
-
1 Thessalonians 5:1414 We exhort you, brothers, admonish the disorderly, encourage the fainthearted, support the weak, be patient toward all.
We have to warn people who are idle and disruptive, encourage the disheartened, help the weak, be patient with everyone!
Sixth, ask if someone could help you resolve the conflict, maybe Pastor Mak could. He would give you ideas and sometimes tell the correct thing to others, but not harming them.
Don't be selfish vain and conceit. It is proven by the Bible that it says: Do nothing out of selfish ambition, vain or conceit, but in humility, consider others better than yourself. Each of you should not look at your own interest, but also, the interest of others. (Philippians 2:3-4)
Want to have joy and no more conflicts, do this:
J:Jesus first
O:Others second
Y:You third.
Last one!
Finally! There is 1 more topic left for me to talk here, it was great fun, but super tiring. So yeah! It is awesome, and the last topic is about conflict resolution, so we will be telling you how to resolve or as you guys say "fix" the problem. The Bible can be handy in this thing, and it will be fun! Stay tuned for the next blog update!
Bullying...
Stop Bullying!!!
Nowadays, there are lots of things happening on earth, and in lots of schools, the main problem with secondary and high school kids is that they love to bully others. This is a bad thing to do, bullying can hurt people in 2 ways, physically and emotionally, but mostly physically. When the bully hurts people physically, it is quite okay, because the hurt would sooner or later be healed, but when the bully hurt the person emotionally, the hurt would come off in a long time, because the person feels very bad. There is a saying that the words are more powerful than actions, so watch your words, they might hurt people a lot.
There are lots of terms of bullying and they are:

When the bully hurts people physically, it is quite okay, because the hurt would sooner or later be healed, but when the bully hurt the person emotionally, the hurt would come off in a long time, because the person feels very bad. There is a saying that the words are more powerful than actions, so watch your words, they might hurt people a lot.
There are lots of terms of bullying and they are:
- Force is to make someone do something that they don't want to, like asking a girl to roll around in the mud for a play, but she refused, but the person still ask the girl to roll in the mud, and that was an example of force.
- Threat is to intend to cause pain to someone, and it is like giving a wedgie to someone innocent. They gave the person a wedgie because there is something that the person want.
- Coercion is ask someone to do something by force, and it is like threatening someone, so it is like asking a boy to give a person his money, or else the person will kill that boy, so the boy needs to give the person the money so that he won't be killed. This was an example of coercion.
- Abuse is to mistreat someone, like a master not giving food to the maid, and asking the maid to do lots of stuff without even paying or giving food to them.
- Intimidate is to frighten someone to make them do what you want, this thing happened in one of the classes in grade 7, it was not nice at all. A boy intimidated a girl, and made the girl not come to school for 1 whole week. This was awful. The boy wanted the girl to work in the team to make the blog, but the girl didn't do it (according to him) and then she got intimidated and not go to school for 1 whole week, luckily, there is Pastor Mak, he solved the problem. Yay! He made the boy understand everything and made the girl understand it too. Then, the boy ask for forgiveness from the girl and the girl accepted it. *aww*
- Aggression is a violent behavior towards a person, so an example would be a person hitting each other in the hallway or anywhere. Fighting would also be a good example, they are doing violent stuff like attacking each other with guns and knives, and blood all over them. *yuck*
- Impose is to force people to be accepted. So, like a person who is left out and have no group at all, wants to be in a group, but no one accepts that guy, so he force people to accept him. Wait... isn't this a crime? Well, anyways, it is bad to do that, and don't ever try to do so, it is very bad. If you tried to do so, then you are imposing someone.
- Dominate is to have influence on, like a person hanging out with the bad guys, then, after spending a long time together, the person who was innocent earlier became a bad guy too, because that guy got influenced.
These are some pictures:
Verbal bullying, which is bullying with words. (please ignore the words there in the picture... some are "bad kitty" words)
Physical bullying, which is bullying with the body.
This is an acronym for the word bully, and it may be correct. They are trying to get attention by bullying others and think that they are cool, no way! It i not cool at all, in fact, it is the total opposite!
So far...
So far so good! We are almost done with the blog updates, there will be 2 more topics for this blog, and we are done and it will be ready for submission. The 2 topics left are Bullying and conflict resolution! Yay! This will be fun! Come on guys, keep reading please! These blog updates will be awesome! Trust me!
Friendship and Relationships
There are lots of good things happening in our lives and they are the gifts from God, we all appreciate them! The only thing is, we can't bring everything with us to Heaven, but we can bring only 1 thing with us to Heaven, which is Friendship. Heaven is already a perfect place, so we don't need to bring anything else except our friendship with our friends and family.
You know what? Friendship is the biggest stuff in reality. You can bring it to heaven as it is mentioned above! It is more important than money, education, work and everything else that bothers our lives. There are 2 types of friends, not being judgeful, so yeah, the 2 types of friends are the friends that just have a relationship with you because they have something to get from you like money for buying books, knowledge for their tests, borrowing books, taking answers from others and many more. And there is another type of relationship, who is the friend that sticks with you closer than a brother or sister, so that friend or family member will stick with you and be best buddies with you no matter what, even though there are problems in their relationship, they will still stick together. Like a friend having another best friend and somehow ignoring the other friend, but the other friend still have a good relationship with the friend that have another best friend, and this type of relationship is the best one, it is like sticking together closer than a brother or sister. It is written in the Bible that: A man of many companions may come to ruin, but there is a friend that sticks closer than a brother. - Proverbs 18:24.
Now, I am going to tell you about the Bible verses in the Bible that talks about Friendship, so, let's get started! So, first thing's first, the Bible verses are:
You know what? Friendship is the biggest stuff in reality. You can bring it to heaven as it is mentioned above! There are 2 types of friends, not being judgeful, so yeah, the 2 types of friends are the friends that just have a relationship with you because they have something to get from you like money for buying books, knowledge for their tests, borrowing books, taking answers from others and many more.
- He who walks with the wise grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm. (Proverbs 13:20)
- This means that if you hang out with stupid people, you will be stupid, but if you hang out with smart and intelligent people, you will be smart and intelligent, which tells us that you will be affected by the people who you hang out with.
- Greater love has no one than this, that lay down his life for his friends. (John 15:13)
- This means that you will help a person and risk your life, Jesus did this to save us from our sins, but if He didn't sacrifice Himself, we would be suffering like Him, so thank you very much Jesus! We really appreciate what you have done for us! We are nothing without you oh Lord Jesus, not even an atom (not to be so scientific, but it is the smallest living thing on earth, smaller than a virus!).
- As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another. (Proverbs 27:17)
- This means that Friends help others and critics you for your own good. This is what a good friend would do. So, if you have something that you think that is quite nice, and someone else think that you need to improve on it a little bit and tells you about it, then that person is a good friend, because good friends critic each other in order to improve each other's mistakes or anything.
- A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity. (Proverbs 17:17)
- This means that Friends are there to help you. They lend us a helping hand, and never gives up on us. They are the best ones that we can ever get.
- Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work, if one falls down, one can help him up. But pity the man who falls and no one will help. (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10)
- This means that If there are 2 people, and 1 gets in trouble, the other one can help, but if you are alone, no one will help you. So, it is better to have lots of friends, but not that much, because there is a saying that a friend to one is a friend to all, a friend to all is a friend to none, so just be really friends with 1 person, and not toot much.
- A righteous man is cautious in Friendship, but the way of the wicked leads them astray. (Proverbs 12:26)
- This means that we have to be careful with our friends, and choose the right friends, but don't choose on people, just see, if they are bad, don't be friends with them, but also don't be enemies with them. No one is an enemy to us, because we are friends of God, and God don't hate anyone.
- Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers, they will succeed. (Proverbs 15:22)
- This means that if you get advice from people, you will do better. So, if you have an assignment or project, and your mom says that you need to add this and add that, or minus this and minus that, follow her, because she is giving you advice to make your assignment or project look better. Sometimes, it might not be your taste, but it would definitely look better, because the Bible tells us, and the Bible never lies, because it is the word of God, it is God speaking directly to us.
Friends are fun to have, but they also are complicated and sensitive, so try to be careful with friends! Friends rock!

Yipeeeee doooooo! We are almost done with the blog updates! All we need to do left is the Friendship thing, Bullying and conflict resolution! We are almost done, so the next blog update will be Friendship! Yay!!!! This is my favorite one! Way to go!

Truth... Fact... Opinion...
In life, there are 3 things, they are truth, fact and opinion.
When you see the word "opinion", all you think of is maybe "Hey, isn't that what we think?" and it obviously be a "Yes". But when you see the words: "Truth and Fact" you might think that there is no difference at all, but actually, there is, and if you keep reading, you will know what the difference is.
Opinion is what you think of something, so it is probably what is in your mind. It is also your own perspective on the different things you do and your style. For example, if your parent or teacher asks you on what you think about going to church, everyone would have tons of different opinion on what you think, and some might think it is good to go to church so that you can praise Him, and some might think it is good to go to church so that you can have the devotionals there and give some offering. (Maybe, some of you get the same opinion, but you get the point, don't you?). Opinions also take place when you do votes like the "Pemilu". And in PKN, we learnt that we have the right to give out our own opinions without being disturbed. Another obvious example s in school, we have the opinion whether playing during study time is right or not, behaving well in class, voting the class captain in science class, playing games when the teacher is talking shows your opinions! Our opinions affect ourselves, and even others, but it is never wrong to have an opinion, and opinions are not wrong nor correct. God has an opinion to, whether or not He will give light to the Earth, whether or not He will let his Beloved So, Christ Jesus to die on the cross for us.
Fact is totally different from opinion, it is something that is already confirmed. For example, 3x3=9 and it is already a fact, because it is confirmed. Unlike opinions, which is what people think, facts are not like that, it is already confirmed, it can make people feel sad, happy, angry and many other feelings. Like the world is getting warmer because of Global warming and the because of Global warming is the pollution that we make, like by cars and everything like that. In school, there are also facts, like we have to wear completely black shoes to school, for girls, we need to tie our hair back, but for boys, they need to tuck in their undershirt so that they won't look like a cleaning man (what my teacher said). These facts help to make the school a better place for people to study, and more regulated and stuff like that. In reality, facts keep us balanced and that Jesus was crucified was a fact and that God created the world is also a fact, Jesus dying on the cross to wash away our sins is a fact and last but not the least, we will have eternal life in heaven not because we have no sins, it is because we accept Jesus in our hearts.
Cool one there!
The last one is truth, and probably, this is the hardest one for you guys to understand because it seems to be the same as "fact". I will try to make this clear for you guys, so let's get started! Truth is the conformance to reality as defined by an unchangeable standard, like God! He is the truth! So, if you want to know the difference between "truth"and "fact", the fact is that 3x3=9, but the truth is that you need to add 3+3+3 to get the answer which is 9. Truth can also be defined as the reality behind something in this case! The truth helps us to know what is good and what is bad, just like Morality! For example, someone doesn't allow us to swim in the ocean, and people will get angry, but it is for their own good, so they will rethink everything again, and maybe consider it. Truth can be a reason to support you people.
Better to tell the truth than telling a lie.
After we know the difference between truth, fact and opinion, it will change our lives completely! (In a good way though...)

Okay, so at last, our last post about the Attributes of God is done, Hearing God's voice is also done! Wow! That was amazing! The ones that are left are Truth, Fact and Opinion, Relationships with friends and families, Bullying and conflict resolution. In each of those topics, we will be talking about them in detail, so it is worth it. In "Truth, fact and Opinion, we will be talking about the differences about them. In Relationships with friends and families, we will be talking about the importance of it like it is more valuable than money and we can't afford to buy it. In Bullying, we will be talking about the terms of bullying like force, coercion and many more. In conflict resolution, we will be talking about how to resolve our conflict using verses from the Bible and stuff like that.
Thanks! God Bless! :D

Attributes of God
Hello everyone, I'm back, so now, I am going to tell you the attributes of God. Before anything happens, I will tell you guys what the fancy word "attribute" means, and it means: a feature regarded as a characteristic part of someone, and in other words, it means the characteristic.
So, let's get started! Okay, so first thing's first, there are lots of attributes of God, and we are only going to mention some, or else it might make the blog crash *kidding*. So, we are going to tell you guys these attributes of God, and they are: Self-existence, knowledge, self-sufficiency, holiness, faithfulness, patience, majesty, omnipresent, omniscience, justice, sovereignty, righteousness, grace, power, truth, wisdom, goodness, glory, eternality, mercy, wrath, ruler-lawgiver, trinity, loving and kind! So, there are about 25 attributes of God, wow! But, we will only be telling you guys some of them, and they are: Self-existence, Knowledge, Self-sufficiency, Holiness, Patience, Omniscience, Omnipresence, Truth, Loving and Kind! That was a lot! But anyways, this is to tell people more about God! We must do our best for God's glory and for Him! *Yipee* (Jump up and down)
Self-existence means God exist as Himself, He exist as a God, and comes to the earth in a form of a human, and He is called Jesus. Jesus saved our lives, He washed away our sins.
Knowledge means that He knows all. It is written in the Bible: Day after day they pour forth speech, and night after night they display knowledge. (Psalm 19:2)
Self-sufficiency means that the time when you are being enough to yourself. God is good all the time, and He never thinks that someone else is better than Him, because He is the only one who is perfect.
Holiness means that He is Holy, and being Holy is to never sin. God never sin because He is perfect. He never did anything wrong. He is always right like being righteous.
Patience, God is so patient that He is willing to wait for us in heaven, even though we are all sinners. God have the capacity to tolerate the delay, trouble or suffering without getting angry or upset. If God is not patient, He wouldn't wait for us in Heaven, and we might have a chance not to go there, but since God is so patient and He cares for our problems more than we do, He waits for us there in Heaven. Yay! Thank you God!
God is Omnipresent, and it means that He is here, there and everywhere! We can't see Him, but if we Believe in Him, we can see Him, because He is everywhere. Also, He is present everywhere at the same time. Isn't that cool, so every time you need God's help, He will help you directly. Sometimes, He will say yes, sometimes no and sometimes later, and all of this is under his plans.
God is Omniscience, and it means that He knows everything, and have infinite knowledge. If we ask God about something, He would answer it directly, because He knows it all, and He even knows the future, He knows what would happen to us next when we grow up, He even knows how much strands of hair we have, we don't even know it, He knows us by name and the stars too. That is so cool.
God is the truth, because He is the conformance to reality as defined by an unchangeable standard. He is not just a fact, He is not an opinion, He is the truth. He is the Way, Truth and the Light, we live by faith and not by sight.
The Bible says this:
2 Peter 3:3-7
knowing this first, that in the last days mockers will come, walking after their own lusts,
4 and saying, “Where is the promise of his coming? For, from the day that the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.”
5 For this they willfully forget, that there were heavens from of old, and an earth formed out of water and amid water, by the word of God;
6 by which means the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished.
7 But the heavens that now are, and the earth, by the same word have been stored up for fire, being reserved against the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.
Loving, God is Loving, God is love, and it is written in the Bible: "For God so loved the world that He gave His only son, for whosoever would believe in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life." (John 3:16) His love is unconditional, we don't need to give Him anything and He will just love us no matter what because we are fearfully and wonderfully made by God. God's love is different from other's love. His love is never-ending.
Kind, He is kind because He gave us everything and especially Jesus, His one and only son to die for us to wash away our sins. Our sins will be forgiven because He is kind. If God is not kind then we will not live in the world we are today, we would be carrying a cross and die with it, but we don't, but instead, we have a wonderful life, because Jesus saved us from our sins. We are forgiven in His name.
And most importantly, God is really big! God is really strong! God is really loving! And He cares about my problems more than I do.
Hope you enjoyed this blog update! God Bless you, and try to understand these concepts!

Our idea...
So, you guys may be thinking... what... why are there all these random stuff, Hearing God's voice, fictional biographies and all that. We are making this blog for a project in one of our classes which is Worldview, and it is about religion as I mentioned it earlier. This blog can be applied to real life it might help a lot! So, we are planning to post about Hearing God's voice like we just did earlier, Attributes of God, like the characteristics of God, He is Omniscience means that He knows everything, isn't that amazing? Truth, fact and opinion (they are together) I won't be discussing this topic here, because I think it might ruin the next updates, so ya... I stick to this. Relationship with friend or families that requires lots of stuff to do, there are friends that will just be friends with you because they need something like money everytime, and they are friends that aren't good to be friends with, they just be friends with you because they need something from you. You don't want to be friends with them right? I hope not. Luckily, there are also friends that stick with you forever, closer than a brother or a sister, and obviously, in Christian's life, it is Christ Jesus, our savior. He is our everything. When we have troubles, like getting bullied or something, we will get help from Jesus! So after we talk about Friendship, we will talk about Bullying, and in our school, it is quite a big problem (i think, dunno if it's true or not) and maybe, this blog will help to solve those problems. And, after we know what bullying and all those terms that are related to bullying, we will proceed to the next topic which is a conflict resolution thing. In this part, we will tell you how to solve those conflicts, and some of them are proven by the Bible, like in:
- Matthew 7:1-3
1 Judge not, that ye be not judged. 2 For with what judgement ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. 3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye.
This means: Do not judge or you will be judged . For the same way you judge others, you ill be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye, and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? Basically, try not to judge people, if you judge them, then you will be judged like that by God, and why should you see each and every single mistake that someone else have and don't bother a ton of your mistakes, and just ignore it.
These conflicts can be resolved by 4 ways, and they are win-lose, lose-win, lose-lose, win-win.
So, in win-lose, you have to win and make others lose, this method is okay for one person but not for the other, so let's try not to consider this method. The next one is lose-win, it means that we need to lose for others to win, this is also bad, because one has to suffer, and the other one gets victory! The next one is the worst option ever, it is lose-lose, so, no one knows what they are doing, they just keep losing and losing. The last one is the best one, it is the win-win, so everyone wins! Yay, so they help each other. This choice is the best so think about keeping this in mind.
I think that is about it, thank you guys for spending your time on looking at this blog update. See you soon!

Progress!
So, we will be posting more things about Worldview, we are supposed to write about 2 things in our stack, but if it is possible, our team wants to have more topics, and we need to make it sure with Pastor Mak if it is okay.
Hope that it would be okay... and stay tuned for the next blog update! See you soon!
Hope that it would be okay... and stay tuned for the next blog update! See you soon!

Hearing God's voice!
Do you want to hear God's voice, if you do, then, let's move on and read this!
Okay, so there are 4 ways to listen to God's voice, and they are silence, solitude, simplicity and surrender. I want to make you guys understand this topic really well, not simply by listing the ideas, but explaining them one by one in detail, so that you guys will know them in your guts!
So, let's get started! So, first thing's first, it is silence, it is the complete absence of sound, when there is no sound at all, sometimes, God will speak to you. You might be praying, studying, singing or anything, and God will speak to you. He speaks in many ways like through the Bible, prayer, other people and many more!
The next thing is solitude, it is the state of being alone, sometimes when we are alone, we might pray to God for help, for thanks, for family and many more, and God will speak to you. Isn't that great?

The 3rd thing is simplicity, it is just being simple in everything with no gadgets, books or anything, just yourself and God, He will talk to you. It also means to be easy to understand to, and if we are in that state, we might have the chance to understand His words better like the Bible. If we understand the Bible well, we will understand Him well too! That would be amazing!
See that drop of water, it is so simple!
The last thing is to surrender or submit yourself to our highest authority, and in Christian's life, we submit ourselves to God. God is our highest authority. We are fearfully and wonderfully made by God, and not by some accident. Thank you God!
When we heard God's voice, all we need to do is to Trust, Obey and Repeat, so if God asks us to stand in front of seven eleven and do a funny dance, we must do it, because it is for His glory. Our Pastor once told us that there was a girl who made a person to believe in God by just standing with her head up until noon or something and she did exactly like so, after a while, the store keeper asked her on why she is doing that, and she answered that "My God told me to" and the person realized how powerful God is, and he believed in God just like that. See how powerful God is...
